This page explains in plain words what information we keep when you write to us or subscribe to our newsletter, why we keep it, for how long, and how you can ask to see it or have it deleted.
Who we are
The controller of your data is D.igital t.hinkings, Konstantinos Ch. Eleftheriadis, Kariani, 64008 Kavala, Greece. For anything related you can write to dt@digitalthinkings.gr or call +30 6944 646093.
When you send us a message
From the contact form we keep what you send us: first name, last name, email and, if you fill them in, company, phone, job title and your message. We use them only to reply to you and for any work that may follow. We do not use them for advertising and we do not add you to our newsletter unless you ask us to.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
We keep your email, your preferred language, the date and time of your sign-up and confirmation, and the IP address the sign-up came from. We keep the last three so we can show that you asked to subscribe.
Subscribing takes two steps. First you tick the consent box and press the button. Then we send you an email, and your subscription is complete only when you press the link in it. If you do not, you will not hear from us and the request is deleted automatically within 30 days.
Every newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe with one click. You can also ask us at dt@digitalthinkings.gr.
Legal basis
- For the newsletter, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- For contact form messages, your request that we get in touch with you and our legitimate interest in replying.
Who else processes your data on our behalf
We do not sell or give your data to anyone for their own use. We only use the following services, which process it for us:
- Hostinger, for hosting the website.
- Resend, for sending emails and keeping the newsletter list. Resend is based in the United States. Data is transferred under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
- Google Workspace, for our email, where your messages arrive.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Unconfirmed requests are deleted within 30 days.
- Contact form messages: for as long as we need to reply and for any work that follows. After that we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep some details, for example for tax purposes.
The 1-100 game
If you choose to add your result to the game leaderboard, we keep the name you enter, the number you reached, your time and the date. The top 10 results are shown publicly on the game page, so you are welcome to use a nickname. If you want a result of yours removed, write to dt@digitalthinkings.gr.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for advertising or to track what you do. It uses only one cookie that remembers whether you view it in Greek or English.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit its use, receive it in a file, or stop using it. Write to dt@digitalthinkings.gr and we will reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Changes
If anything described here changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
